Food is major facet of The Bell. However, please don't imagine us to be a gastro pub. By this we simply wish to emphasis that we are not a restaurant masquerading as a pub where the intended use of every table is for dining, with the exception of an 'en suite' bar near the front door, and where you have to spend at least £30 a head or be squashed into a corner should, heaven forbid, you just want a pint of beer. Our approach to dining is simple and informal; we operate a non-reservation policy of first come, first served, you order at the bar, and you can eat wherever you want.
Here at The Bell we serve food that panders to the needs of both the pub traditionalist and modern day foodie. All of our dishes are produced on the premises by proper chefs and the menus are designed to satisfy the smallest to largest of appetites.
Food at The Bell is served all day, everyday from 11am to 10pm & the main menu is mix of pub 'classics', comfort food and grazing.
